The STEM Ambassador Programme  – Providing opportunities to work with local schools

The STEM Ambassador Programme enables anyone with science, technology, engineering or maths (STEM) skills to inspire young people and demonstrate the potential of STEM subjects and careers.
We would love for dynamic computer scientists to join us and help young people see how studying IT, maths, science and technology can lead to exciting and influential careers.

“The best thing about being a STEM Ambassador is observing the students’ vibrant learning and sparking their enquiry. In the process I learn a lot about myself too and raise the profile
of my Profession.” – Mel Watson, Bristol Royal Infirmary

As an ambassador you can support local schools by talking about your work in lessons, attending careers events or running activities with extra-curricular clubs. You need only contribute a couple of hours a year as an ambassador and we will support you in every way we can.

To become a STEM Ambassador please register at www.stemnet.org.uk or contact Katy Glazer.
Email. [email protected] or Tel. 01275 474948.

You will then be invited to attend a one-off 90 minute induction session, where you will find out more about the programme and complete a CRB check. This completes your registration as a STEM Ambassador.
