Speaker Bio:Nick graduated with a Masters in Automotive Engineering from Cranfield in 2003 and joined the Department for Transport graduate scheme before becoming a type approval engineer. He then moved on to managing the Type Approval Certification team in VCA through the transition of the new type approval framework 2007/46 that bought in the General Safety Regulation amongst others. In 2012 Nick moved to Thatcham Research to manage the growth of their testing and development operations following Euro NCAP accreditation. It was here that Nick oversaw the testing of the very first ADAS functions that would become the building blocks for Autonomous Driving.
