Intelligent Testing Conference Slides and Recordings Available

The slides and recordings from the second “Intelligent Testing” Conference are now available on our website.  You can listen to the keynote from Rolls Royce talking about using agile in embedded software development and static analysis plus many more:

  • Intelligent Testing in Complex Environments
  • Get Yourself Covered
  • Static Analysis – What, Why, Where, When, Who and How
  • Agile and CI for Embedded Software and Tool Development
  • Static Analysis and Formal Proof for Software Systems using the MALPAS Toolset
  • Virtual Platform Software Simulation for Enhanced Multi-core Software Verification
  • Harnessing Sophisticated Assertion Checking Through Runtime Testing

The presentations were informative and worth reviewing if you couldn’t attend the conference (or hearing again).

Can Agile and CI work for Embedded Systems?

Agile development methods and continuous integration are now pretty standard in pure software environments resulting in reduced defects and much faster software release times. However adopting these techniques for embedded software presents a number of  challenges – hardware may be scarce or unreliable, software may have real-time constraints to meet, testing may require a trained eye to review the output and more.

At our Intelligent Testing Conference in Bristol this Monday, 17th March, Russell Gallop of SN Systems, part of the Sony Computer Entertainment Group, will be explaining the approaches that they have taken to resolving the issues so that agile practices can be successfully used for embedded software development.

To find out more book your place at the conference now.  It’s not too late, it’s free to attend and as well as Russell’s talk there are six other great talks, pre-conference workshops and opportunities to network with fellow professionals on offer.
