Skills
- Follow lab standards; execute Test processes; plan/organize necessary tests; execute test procedures, report & track bugs; keep key stakeholders informed of verification status
- Execute manual and automated tests
- Work with different teams (Engineering/PM) to collect necessary information to assure the test coverage
- Create test reports
- Test hardware and related applications against specifications and documentation
- Perform tests and provide timely test results to relevant others
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in prototype hardware & software functions, outputs, online screens, and content.
- Install, maintain, and use testing embedded software programs
- Work with the developers and test engineers to improve test cases when needed
- Perform other duties as requested by primary test lead/admin, test engineers
- Document, track, and communicate test results, analysis, and unresolved problems
- Work from written documentation, verbal instructions and email
- Performs regular maintenance, and checks calibration on relevant equipment, and tooling, maintains records related to this.
- Learns and follows relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Comfortable with working in a room full of devices with other 2-3 people most of the time/lab environment
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work with minimal day to day supervision, work very independently, and be a self manager/motivator
- Not color blind
- Familiar with standard lab equipment: o-scope, programmable generators, measurement instruments, multilateral
- Familiar with fundamental software programming: (C#, Matlab, or the like)
