Presentation Title:Making your ISO 26262 Flow Flawless: Establishing Confidence in Verification Tools
Abstract:The ISO 26262 standard requires that every tool used within the design and verification flow, that can either insert errors into the final product or prevent errors from being detected, be analyzed within the context of its use in the flow and qualified if necessary. In this session, we will look at what it means to establish tool confidence and why you should care as it relates to functional safety development for automotive. We will uncover the process around tool qualification and see how it relates to a typical design and verification tool chain. Finally, discuss strategies that EDA vendors can use to help you.
