Conference:Verification Futures 2015 (click here to see full programme)
Speaker:Andy Lunness, BlueWireless Technology
Presentation Title:SystemC-based UVM Verification Infrastructure
Abstract:BluWireless designs use SystemC and so it was a natural choice to also select SystemC for the test bench language. However, they also wanted to follow current industry best practise with a UVM-compliant verification strategy. In this talk we will outline the development of a SystemC testbench that is UVM compliant with a TLM 2.0 interface that meets all of the following objectives:

  • Reusability – across projects using SystemC designs
  • Cost effectiveness – reducing dependency on proprietary licenses
  • Advanced verification support – ability to deploy advanced verification techniques
  • IP quality – demonstrable improved IP quality via metrics and bug discovery rates
