Adam Sherer, Product Management Group Director of Cadence, will discuss “Unified Safety and Functional Verification” at the DVClub Europe Conference on 20 October 2015.
Safety and functional verification must be the same flow. ISO26262, IEC61508, and other related standards specify requirements tracing, functional verification, and safety verification. While these standards do not require a single flow, justifying unrelated analyses to auditors is an expensive process.
Adam Sherer will focus on the following key points:
- Mission critical applications demand rigorous verification
- Safety verification is a new functional verification application
- Integrated functional and safety verification flows are required to achieve timely and cost-effective standards compliance
Attending the DVClub Europe conference on October 20th is free but places are limited so we recommend early registration. You can attend physically at UWE (in Bristol, Cambridge, Grenoble and Sophia) or remotely.
